Our client, A leading luxury interior design firm located in Kuwait city is hiring STRUCTURAL ENGINEER with the following criteria;
Job Description:
Structural Engineer, is responsible for designing and constructing buildings and structures that are safe and capable of withstanding the elements to which they will be exposed, as well as improving the structural integrity of existing buildings. His duties include liaising with relevant professional staff such as architects.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preparing reports, designs and drawings
- Making calculations about loads and stresses
- Selecting appropriate construction materials
- Insure design is meeting the standards and international codes.
- Preparing detailed drawings and reinforcement tables.
- Review and approve changes to structure elements which need to be changes in size due to site conditions.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to work with structural design softwares to design structure.
- Familiar with international building codes
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to prepare and deliver tasks on time.
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English Language.
Minimum Qualification:
- Holding bachelor degree in Structural Engineering. Transcript is required. Graduation grade should be very good and above.
- 5 years of practical experience.
- Permitted by Kuwait Municipality.
- Have transferable visa.
- Have driving license.
Organizational Relation:
Candidate will report directly to top management.
Working days:
Saturday-Thursday
Working Hours:
9:00 am to 5:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm*
Working hours are 8 hrs/day. Start time may vary depend on site/client requirements.
Gross Salary:
500 KD/month
