Our Client; A reputed Group of Companies is hiring FINANCE MANAGER urgently.
THIS POSITION IS AVAILABLE ONLY FOR LOCAL/KUWAIT CANDIDATES. Preferably immediate joiners with Minimum 6-8 years and above experience as Finance Manager.
Major (Overall) Responsibilities
Responsible for managing all financial & accounting activities which include but not limited to preparing budget guidelines & assumption; monitoring annual combined budgets; managing accounts receivable, payable & cash flow functions; preparing financial reports in accordance with the International Accounting Standards; setting up measures to reduce cost, monitoring expenditures; as well as maintaining a healthy level of cash flow.
Primary JOB Functions:
Strategy Formulation
1 Develop the strategic objectives & KPIs for the assigned Functions as per the Division’s Director directions and set the individual objectives for employees under his/ her management accordingly. 2 Aim at achieving the operating results of the Functions under his/ her management and ensure that appropriate measures are in place to achieve targeted objectives, reduce risk and make accurate decisions. |

Budget & Cost Control
1 Develop the Function’s annual budget under the supervision of the Division’s Director and ensure that all employees are working according to the assigned budget. 2 Ensure maintaining the costs and expenditures within the set budget. |

Policies & Processes
Develop the Policies & Processes for the assigned Function in line with Co’s standards and other applicable laws and regulations and ensure proper implementation of the same by the assigned staff. |

Finance Activities
1 Oversee Accounts Department within the organization. 2 Create and implement internal accounting and finance policies and procedures in line with international standards. 3 Supervise the preparation of financial statements and reports. 4 Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation. 5 Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations. 6 Contact outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary. 7 Track the company’s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement. 8 Manage the deployment and maintenance of new accounting, timekeeping, payroll, inventory, property, and other related procedures and controls. 9 Review financial statements with management personnel. 10 Ensure that all financial reports/data are prepared on regular timely basis (banks, suppliers, customers and intercompany). 11 Develop internal controls within the department to ensure bookkeeping function is reliable and all financial information is double checked. 12 Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
