Job brief
The role of the IT & Social Media Specialist is to provide services and advice to internal customers (management and employees) related to software, hardware, applications, databases, networks, Web resources and enterprise systems. You will be considered the main point of contact for any IT and social media related requirements and use your expertise to provide solutions and related services. You will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction using your IT knowledge and experience that warrants long-term business relationships. Also responsible for all social media branding to attract, maintain and retain clients.
Responsibilities
The IT Specialist is a Group resource reporting to management of all partner companies
• Liaise with all partner organizations for their IT requirements and provide timely and cost-efficient solutions
• Support day-to-day running of IT in all partner organizations to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure a secure network and messaging service at all organizations to avoid any potential harm to systems and applications
• Update and maintain website(s) of all partner organizations
• Assist in branding the organization through appropriate social media channels
• Report on social media activities to enhance company image and client base
• Training employees in the effective use of delivered products/services with a view to minimize complaints
• Work with external parties (vendors, consultants, service providers) to arrive at the most appropriate enterprise integration solutions
• Keep up-to-date on all emerging technologies and potential effectiveness of these advancements in the current systems
Requirements
• Diploma or higher in the IT field.
• Certification in Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco or related technologies
• Adept at all social media platforms
• 5 years’ experience in related fields / various industries
• Customer Orientation, Presentation and Training skills
• Strong with MS Office and various business software
• Proficiency with English is required; Arabic would be an added advantage
