Job Description
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Preferably Less than 1 year experience specialized in IT/Computer – Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
Job Responsibilities:
- Basic workstation inspection and cleaning of workstations
- Perform operating system updates and security patches
- Virus protection updates and configuration
- Spam, Spyware, Malware and Pop-up protection updates
- Application software updates and configuration
- Ensure all back up and data recovery tasks are enabled and tested
- Test and discover hardware related issues or potential problems
- Ensure network connectivity and speed testing
- Setting up network cabling as needed
- Manage network infrastructure in the school as well as monitor internet provider’s performance
- Basic security and intrusion testing of network and firewall abilities
- Configuring Firewall
- Setting up/ Configuring Print Servers
- Fix account lockouts or inability to login
- Computer Troubleshooting/Repair and Recommendation
- Graphic Design and Layout
- Edit marketing and promotional flyers as needed
- Layout and printing of IDs
- Website Maintenance
- Social media maintenance
- Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment’s
- Recommending hardware and software requirements needed in the school
- Replacing computer parts as required
- Maintenance of existing database and enhancement of current application
- Participate in on-going IT system design
- Design and implement solutions for software defects
- Application testing
- Technical documentation
- Maintaining library resources and systems
- Entering and editing data into computerized databases
- Design and implementation of data storage solutions
- Experience in Microsoft 365 or Microsoft AX Dynamics
- Other tasks assigned consistent with the goals and objectives of this position
