Lead Innovation and Cloud Specialist – 2000 KD

Job Description:

• Provide IT related advisory services to the identified requesters related to solution architecture domain.
• Design, analyse, operate, evaluate the cloud-based solutions.
• Work on platforms such as PAAS, SAAS, IAAS, AWS, Azure, PAS.
• Undertake requester communication.
• Design, architect and develop new functions on our automation platform.
• Understand and identify the requester’s requirements and assess the suitability of Data Center Site as per the required parameters.
• Support the requester in issuance of an RFP and assist him in the tendering process.
• Based on the requester’s scope, perform Project Management Services.
• Ensure adherence to data centers’ SLA commitments, performance, service availability, response time, problem resolution.
• Advise the requester on the required Data Center Certifications such as (ISO/ITIL).
• Assist in Resource Management for operations.
• Advise the requester on controlling & minimizing the running monthly expenditures (Capital and Operating Expenditures) for DC Infrastructure (Electrical/ Power/ UPS/ DG/ BMS/ Security/ Fire Suppression/ etc.)
• Deployment of review systems to manage execution of projects on time and as per budgeted parameters on Routine basis.
• Maintain enterprise          architecture       big         picture/              vision    for         Hardware, Software, Licensing, Network and Solutions. Also design and evaluate new solution architectures.
• Review, interpret and       respond              to           detailed              Business Requirements
• Specifications (BRS) to ensure alignment between requester expectations and current or future KOC capability.
• Provide input to the strategic direction of technology investments to assist in the development of the enterprise architecture and maximize the return on technology investment.
• Operation Level Agreement (OLA) commitments, performance, service availability, response time, problem resolution.
• Ensure that all architectural products and products with architectural input are maintained in the most current state and never allowed to become obsolete.
• Develop, document and present design solutions and alternatives.
• Integrate internal  and  external  product  design  into a  cohesive  user experience.
• Preparation of  technical  design  options  in  collaboration  with  other architects.
• Identify application, data, and infrastructure components required or impacted to implement solutions.
• Analysis of           the        technology         environment,              enterprise          specifics, and documentation of requirements.
• Setting the  collaboration  framework,  creating  a  solution  prototype, participating in technology selection, controlling solution development and supporting project management.
• Deployment of new technology & driving new ideas as per industry best practices.
• Explore green energy solutions for environment protection.
• Explore innovative solutions through continuous improvement plans for optimum utilization of Energy efficient equipment to achieve better PUE (Power Usage Efficiency).
• Any other work as assigned by the Supervisor or the Delegation of Power.

 Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering /Computer Science /equivalent field or equivalent 8 years relevant work experience.
• Minimum two of the following Certifications: VMware cloud management, Microsoft cloud technologies, AWS certified solution Architect, professional cloud solutions architect, TOGAF9.x, Open Group certified architect, Virtualization council Master Infrastructure Architect certification, Citrix certification, VMware certifications, Accredited Tier Designer, Accredited Tier specialist, Accredited Operations specialist, TIA-942 Design Consultant CTDC, TIA-942 Internal or external auditor CTIA, ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO22301.
• Experience in IT architecture, infrastructure, cloud development, engineering, hardware and software architecture design.
• Experience in architecture leadership role, designing end-to- end, enterprise solutions across the complete systems development lifecycle.
• Experience in Governance, Risk and Compliance.
• Experience in Audit, implement controls and Continues Improvement framework.
