Job Description
A Team is which deals with the actual work on the ship’s discharge and loading of Cargo. Tally clerks to ensure the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments. Record weights, measurements and dimensions of cargo.
The clerk Will be assigned in working area for vessel Discharge / Loading cargo.
Directly involved in all activities on entire vessel operation with regard to discharging / loading / issue chalans and tally upon completion.
Coordinate with vessel Foreman regarding the status of working holds.
Need to confirm the balance cargo in holds.
Need to coordinate with vessel Foreman, movement of cranes and equipment assignments.
Must note down the activity log for Crane movement / Equipment Assignment.
Maintain the bench mark Productivity at all times for Operators.
Ensure all vessel documents have been correctly and completely filled.
Complete and hand over the Chelan to the Truck Driver before the truck leaves.
Undertakes any other duties as required by the their Supervisor / Superior
